Oakmere presents World Book Day 2021

Whether you were at home or school today has been all about celebrating books and reading.

We started the day by learning the signs to a well known story. In school we then created dragon masks and adapted the book – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt to one entitled We’re going on a Dragon hunt.

The afternoon was spent creating an obstacle course which we then completed whilst acting out our Dragon Hunt stories.

There has been some great reading going on – one of you read over 200 pages! That must have been a great book.
