Oakmere's blog - 29.06.2018

What a very hot and busy week we have had in Oakmere!

The children have continued to work hard in English and have produced some lovely simile poems and fact files about their chosen apes. We have also enjoyed exploring 2d and 3d shapes in Maths. The Year 3 children built their own 3d shapes on Friday, whilst the Year 4 children explored symmetry.

We have also created our own classification keys in Science about rainforest animals. The children had to work together in a group to sort and group the living things based on their similarities and differences. This wasn't an easy task, but they all did extremely well.

Tomorrow is sports day so please make sure you child has their P.E. kit and trainers, a hat and suncream applied and a bottle of water.

See you tomorrow.
