Good afternoon,

These weeks are flying by, it must be true that times flies when you’re having fun!

Another busy week as always in Oakmere. Maths has been a true success story this week, the children have been introduced to the column addition method and are absolutely loving it and doing very well with it. We are very proud of them. We have written our own Harvest poems which are beautiful too.

In Science, we welcomed a visitor who is a specialist of sound – he came with some cool objects and shared a lot of fascinating facts with us.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Pupil consultations this week, it is always a pleasure to meet you and share with you how wonderful your children are. The start of this half term certainly feels like we have all found our feet and are all feeling settled in our new class and year group.
