Our week 13th November - Linmere

This week it was anti-bullying week. The theme for this year was "All different. All equal." In class we completed some work around this theme which included: writing acrostic poems about ourselves, discussing our various likes and dislikes and then finally creating a class jigsaw. In this activity children and staff all decorated a jigsaw piece to show how we are all individual but when we unite together we become stronger and make a community.

In English we continued looking at "The Promise" and worked on writing setting descriptions using expanded noun phrases.

Our maths work centred on multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100.
