Our week 23rd April -Linmere

Well it's been another busy week full of surprises.

In maths we continued our work on decimals and reading numbers to 2 decimal places.

English work revolved around using our senses to create a rainforest poem. The children created some fantastic images with their well thought out word choices. 

Our topic work has almost reached the end - we'll be celebrating with a VE Day party on Thursday. Please look out for a letter with details of what we'll be sharing and the request for a donation to our party.

This week we also experienced a Spanish lesson, were treated to a music performance, took part in a digital media visit and also had a taster session of Kung fu! 

I for one was ready for a rest this weekend! Hope you've all had a good weekend and are back ready to learn on Monday morning.
