Our week in Oakmere 06.09.19

This has been our first week together as Oakmere and what a busy first week it has been!

We have had a wonderful time getting know each other, finding out about our pets, likes and dislikes and all our favourite things. 

There has been lots of creative thinking and writing going on with recipes written about what makes a good friend and how to have a successful year.

Well done to all the children who stood for election as class representatives for the school council. The childrean had some great ideas and all spoke clearly and with confidence. 

Next week we will start our topic work on the local area. As part of our history work we will be looking at chronology. If the children have any photos of themselves at different ages that they are able to bring in and that can be stuck in their books please send them in next week.
