Our week September 11th - Linmere

Another well done to the children on completing their 1st full week in class. We are now up and running with all our different topics and subjects after the settling in period.

In maths this week we have been working on ordering and rounding numbers. Whilst in English we looked at some poems written by Benjamin Zephaniah. We then went on to write our own poems in his style. The children did really well with both their writing and their performances of their poems. Next week we will continue with poetry.

Well done to Georgia, Kian and Jaime who all shared their work in assembly this week. Caramel (the class mascot) went home with Annie on Friday as she was chosen as Linmere’s “Star of the week”.

Thank you all for your contributions for our special tuck on Friday – the children did incredibly well setting up, selling and tidying up afterwards.
