A lovely week of weather and an excellent week in school. We have had lots of fun and learnt lots of new things. 

In maths we have been telling the time to o'clock and half past, using analogue clocks. Please continue to practise this skill at home. 

We have looked at poetry about fruit and learnt about rhyming words. 

In science we found out about parts of the human body. 

We started a new book in guided reading and noticed that it was by the same author of another book that we have read. This is a great reading skill, being able to compare and make links between different books. 

Here are some pictures from this week. Remember, COOL Time is when we Choose Our Own Learning. Children choose which activites to complete and which areas they want to learn more about. Each week there are certain challenges that all the children have to complete.
