Sandymere 22.1.21

Date: 22nd Jan 2021 @ 12:39pm

What a week! Well done everyone for overcoming all the health, weather and technical issues that we have encountered in the last few days. I do hope that everyone is okay.

Here is a summary of our learning this week.

  • We read to the end of The Lion Inside and next week we will be writing our own stories.
  • We worked hard learning how to use number lines to subtract from 20.
  • Today we started our new science topic about materials.
  • We worked in the style of Paul Klee to create castles from 2D shapes.
  • In history we found out about different types of Norman castles.

Whether you learning at home or in school you have had my voice speaking to you from my Loom videos. I think I am getting used to recording them now but I still don’t like listening to my own voice when I play them back. I do hope that they are helping your child with their learning and that they are able to pretend that I am there in person.

Take a look at this week’s excellent examples, there were so many it was hard to choose.

I hope that you have a good rest over the weekend. See you all in our live session on Monday at 1pm.

Stay safe,

Mrs Bettley.
