Another busy week which has flown by. 
This week we have begun to learn about different types of materials. We found lots materials being used in our classroom and we were quite good at naming each of them. 
In maths we have moved into our addition and subtraction unit focussing on numbers to 10. 
Our Lost and Found stories are now complete. I was very proud of all the children as they rose to the challenge of writing their very first Year 1 story. Our class collective worship this week focussed on the reflection area in our classroom. We talked more about thankfulness and how we always have something to be thankful for even when we are having a bad day.

Thank you so much for all the generous donations for the food bank. We have an amazing collection of items. This is a true sign of our schools commitment to courageous advocacy, seeing a problem and then doing something about it.
