We had a very busy week to start the new half term.

In maths we have been adding with numbers up to 10. I was very impressed on Friday as we were able to solve missing number calculations. The children were so good at applying their previous learning to help them solve the challenging questions.

In English we have started a new book called Nibbles The Book Monster by Emma Yarlett. So far we have found out that Nibbles loves to eat lots of different things but his favourite thing to eat is books. We have been learning different words to describe what Nibbles does when he eats – nibble and chomp.

This week’s COOL Time challenges were all linked to Bonfire Night. Take a look at the photos to see what we got up to.

Please remember to help your child learn their words for the week and to complete their reading and Numbots regularly across the week. Well done to the four children who went on Numbots last week.
