Sandymere Class Update 12.9.20

Wow, what a great week we have had! 🤩 We have worked so hard all week and there were definitely some tired faces on Friday afternoon, including mine! 

This week we have:

- Been finding out about a girl called Rocket who likes to look up all the time. This is because she loves everything to do with space. The children set me a challenge to find out answers to the questions that they would ask an astronaut.        
- Sorted and counted objects in our maths lessons. 
- Found out that Tricky Witch uses her wand to make oo say u in words like good and book.   
- Tried hard to remember our address as part of our Geography work. 
- Disucssed what changes we see in Autumn. 
- Continued our learning in our COOL time, both inside and outside of the classroom. 

I have listened to everyone read, one of my favourite things to do. Please return books and reading diaries on Monday. I will be giving the children new books for the week. 1x phonic book (try to read themselves) 1x library book (for you to share together) and this week there will also be 1x coloured sticker book (May be a bit trickier than the phonics book and they made need a little more support from you to help them read it)
