Sandymere Learning Update 24.6.16

This week we have worked incredibly hard on writing our own versions of The Queen's Knickers and what a wonderful collection of stories we have!  The children should be so proud of themeselves.  Today we are 'publishing' our stories into little books for the classroom library.

In Maths we have been revisiting many basic counting skills including practising bonds to 20 and counting to 100 and beyond.  The children have also been applying their basic skills to problem solving activities.  Great work!

We have looked at the difference between canivores and herbivores in Science. Do you know what a Beaver eats?  Perhaps you could find out with your child.

We have been practising for Sport's Day this week.  The childre will be taking part in Sprint, egg and spoon, obstacle and relay races.  Please do come along on Thursday 30th June at 1.15pm to cheer your child on.  All events information can be found on the home page of the school website.
