Sandymere Week 7
Date: 4th May 2020 @ 10:44am
Hello and good morning everyone,
What a beautiful morning it is! So lovely to see a little bit of sunshine once again.
This Friday marks the celebration of VE Day and there are some lovely activities available to mark the occasion. If you want to talk about the events of VE day then you could follow this link https://youtu.be/NEavcsrMoMw (please make sure you skip any ads before sharing the clips on You Tube with children)
You can do this in a number of ways such as setting up a party with in your homes (perhaps invite your teddy bears too!), you could make some VE day inspired bunting, decorate your homes, make a picnic or even bake a celebration cake! Here is a link to some lovely activities that you may also wish to take inspiration from https://bletchleypark.org.uk/cms/2020/04/ve-day-activity-pack-3.pdf
We know just how much Sandymere children LOVE to sing so why not sing along to some of these wonderful songs during your celebration?

Wellbeing
Attached below is a Wellbeing Calendar, with daily activities to help keep you feeling safe and well. You might want to do them in a different order, picking your favourites first or you might want to do them in the order given, just do whatever works best for you.
Remember the most important thing is that you are all safe and well. Play lots of board games, build dens, catch up on some reading and enjoy being outdoors (if you can!)
Take care everyone.
