Well this week has flown by! 

The children have blown us away with their amazing writing this week. They are rising to the challenges we give them and becoming more confident to work independently. Our focus this week has been using and to not just join two words but to join two ideas (clauses) in one sentence. 

In maths we have finished our place value unit. It would be really helpful if you could practise ordering numbers to 20 as this skill needs a little more practise. Choose 3 or 4 numbers and ask you child to write them down in order - smallest to greatest or greatest to smallest. 

We have started learning about plants in science and robots in computing. In PE we have been delvoping our defending and attacking skills. 

We are looking forward to seeing you all next week and awarding more reading stars and NumBots certificates. Thank you to our Sandymere families for supporting your child's learning at home.
