Hatchmere Starting School Information

Hello Hatchmere Parents.

 We have been having a few email enquiries about starting school.  I thought I would put this blog together to help answer some questions.

 Group A you are starting tomorrow at 8.50am and will finish at 11.50am.   Group B you are on Thursday and you start at 8.50am and finish at 11.50am.  Please try and come at your set time to ensure we keep our bubble as safe as possible.  Because we are finishing at twelve on your first day you do not need to bring lunch.  On your second day your child will be provided with a lunch or you can send one in in a named lunch box.  The school lunches are lovely and they are free!  Once the gate is open you can come onto the playground.  I will be there to meet and greet you and your child.  Unfortunately due to Covid you will be unable to bring your child up to the class.  Your child should bring a small bag with a named water bottle and a healthy snack.  You might also want to include a spare pair of underwear in case of accidents.  They do not need to bring anything else into school.  When they do need something else brought in I will let you know in plenty of time.

 At the end of the session we will bring your child down onto the playground and give them back to you once you have told me your password.  I will then phone you later that afternoon to have a chat with you about how their first visit went.  I will also be able to answer any questions you have.
