Year 5 & 6 Girls' Football

Funky Football

On Thursday 4th October a team of year 5 and 6 girls went to a football tournament. We had so much fun! We played 5 games against other Winsford schools. The first game that we played was against Grange. We won 3-1. Brooke (who was our goalie) managed to score a goal right from the other end of the pitch.  The second game we played was against High Street School. Jaime scored her first goal. Well done! We won again with a score of 1-0. Our third game was against Overhall's Second Team. We got our best score yet during this game. A whopping 6-0. Annie and Jorja played really well. In our fourth game, we played Overhall's First Team and Brooke just didn't stop scoring goals. Both Eden and Alycia played some excellent football and we won again with a score of 4-0. Our fifth and final game was against Willow Wood. Mya and Maddie played well during this game and you will never guess what! We won! 2-0. As we won all of our games, we are through to the partnership finals. I hope we do just as well then. Go OSJ!
