Year 5/6 Girls’ Football – 5/10/17

We set off in blazing sunshine looking forward to an afternoon of competition between lots of Winsford schools. We were a little disappointed when we realised only High Street had joined us! However, the afternoon was a brilliant success. We played three mini matches before selecting a team to play in the final.

The final was two halves of ten minute duration and I am thrilled to say we came out worthy winners beating High Street 3-0! We are now going through to represent Winsford in the SSP finals.

The afternoon ended with a heavy shower of rain and we were all soaked but nothing could dampen our spirits!
