08.06.17 The General Election

Since it is the 8'th of June ( the General Election)  Blakemere have been learning all about politics and elections. At first we were all confused about voting for the MP's and not the parties and getting seats below your percentage of the national vote. After a while, we all decided what manifestos we would have if we were in the election and lots of people had very interesting ideas and some would be really good if we put them into practice. Once we knew enough about the different parties we had a class vote Labour won 19/27. We then created our own parties, slogans and logos.We had lots of fun learning about what people were doing today and now everyone knows a lot more about it and what goes on when you vote.
