1.10.15 Sandymere learning update

What a wonderful week we have had. We started the week with exploring the five senses and used this to inspire us in writing poetry. In literacy we have also listened out for rhyming words and practised the high frequency words. 

 

Maths his has been all about investigating number bonds to 10 and 20 and in turn exploring how to record these numerically as a number sentence. The children would benefit from practising this further at home. 

 

In in topuc the children have continued to look at Google Earth and find key places along Delamere Street. They then created their own maps of Delamere Street and added photos of the school, church and petrol station.

 

PE focused in throwing and catching a ball and the children showed great skills and control. Well done!
