We have had a great week back after the half term. As this week was the lead up to the centenary of World War 1, a ot of our activities have focused on this. In English, we have explored the book 'What does Peace feel like by Vladimir Radunsky. We then took the idea of describing Peace using our senses and created our poem about Peace linked to the theme of remembrance. We also produced a whole-class tapestry about WW1, in which the children each made a piece for it and stuck it on. Th is is currently displaed in the library window. Please come and have a look.
