10.9.15 Sandymere Learning Update

The children should all be very proud of themselves! They have all been fabulous at coming into the classroom in the morning. They are great remembering where to place their personal belongings and then choose a book to quietly share.  Simply wonderful!!

This week we have spent time getting to know a little bit more about your child's abilities in English and Maths so there has been a few 'cold' tasks where the children have been asked to work unaided and show us their personal best.  They have written postcards, sequenced stories and even matched capital and lower case letters in English, and in Maths the children have been showing off their sequencing of numbers and counting to 20.  Your child may have told you they have work on the 'Excellent Example' board where we share work that has really set a high standard.

Two P.E lessons have taken place this week and the children have enjoyed playing a selection of new games. (and a few old favourites!)

All in all, a fabulous week.
