13.01.2017 - Oakmere's first week back

We have worked hard this week in Oakmere. We first of all learnt about the OSJ Writing Exhibition that will be happening in February and what we shall be doing for it. We have been introduced to a man called Philippe Petit, the main character in our book The Man Who Walked Between The Towers, as this is what our writing will be based on. We learnt about his amazing feat in New York in 1974. 

Csn you find out an interesting fact about him? 

We are hoping this book will help us to produce some excellent writing.

Msths has been all about number and place value and we have been pulling numbers apart and putting them back together.
