What a great week we have had in Oakmere.
We have researched famous astronauts, ordered artefacts in chronological order and had some great cricket tuition from Mark.
In Maths, we looked at number sequences. Identifying whether they went forwards or backwards, whether they skipped numbers or whether they used every number and finally we extended those sequences. In English, we had a brief introduction to our new class book and used it to help us write our own expanded noun phrases.
To finish the week on Friday afternoon we worked together as a class to make origami stars. It was interesting to see all our individual parts put together could create something different and so pretty. We’re using them to decorate our reading area, but they will be a great reminder about how if we work together we can make something amazing
