We have had another busy week here in Oakmere.

In English we are continuing to explore writing instructions and the children are becoming more confident with finding, identifying and using the features of instructions. Next week, we will be using George's Marvellous Medicine to help us write our own magical medicine recipes.

Maths has continued to focus on the place value of three and four digit numbers. We have ordered them, compared them and made them using objects and counters.

On Friday afternoon we had a very special visitor. Bishop Hamlet and his wife visited our school from Uganda. There shared lots of information with us about what life in Uganda is like.
