25.11.2016 - Oakmere Weekly update

Once again we have had a very busy week in Oakmere.

We have begun to explore our book, The Chocolate Tree, in English a little further and have found out a little more about the main character Kukulkan. We completed a story map of chapter 1 and this helped to us to retell this part of the story. We uaed some excellent vocabulary and have begun using fronted adverbials to improve our sentences.

We explored how fossils are made and have started to put together an information book about mould and cast fossils. We are all very excited to be making our own fossils next week in science.

Maths was a little trickier this week, as we began to explore different methods for division.

We have also started to collect items for our Mrs Mop Christmas hamper. Any donations will be gratefully received.
