I hope you have all had a lovely holiday and are looking forward to returning to school tomorrow. I am very excited to see you all and here about your adventures over the past week.

We are starting a new unit in English focusing on explanation texts and we shall be using a great book called 'Until I met Dudley' to help us learn more about the features of these texts and to eventually help us to write our own explanation text about how a telephone works.

We shall also be creating our very own shape poetry about telephones.

Remember to keep practising your times tables and related division facts.

For example

4 x 3 = 12        3 x 4 = 12

12 ÷ 3 = 4       12 ÷ 4 = 3
