7.10.18 Linmere

This week we had a visit from Andrew Moffat to talk to us about No Outsiders.  Mrs Snowdon has written all about this in her blog.

In Maths we tackled Roman numerals, which the children really enjoyed. In English we continued with our work on The Tin Forest.

On Friday we were Petrologists, carrying out a survey to find out about how rocks are used in school and the surrounding area.

We have also been learning about how Bronze Age houses were constructed.  We are now all really looking forward to our trip to Burwardsley on Thursday.

Thank you to all of the children for making my first week in Linmere so enjoyable!
