A busy week in Oakmere - 07.06.2018

What a great first week back to school we have had. We have written some excellent explanation texts about the lifecycle of a Poison Dart Frog in English. We have used the correct features and some excellent technical vocabulary in our writing.

Maths has focused on exploring angles, naming them and finding then in shapes. We had some help from our very own angle monster.

In Science, we went on an invertebrate hunt around the school grounds. Why not take a look at our Science page to find out more.

Finally, we had a visit from PCSO Hough from Cheshire Police. She talked to us about being a police officer and the different jobs in the police force. We were able to try on some of the uniform and ask her lots of questions. We also learnt about keeping ourselves safe.
