Blakemere's Blog - 13.03.2020

We have had another busy week in Blakemere. In English we have continued to focus upon our class book 'King Kong'. We have described the island and King Kong, before writing a character description for Kong. Next week, we will be moving on to planning and then writing a story based on King Kong. 

In Maths, we have spent the week working on ratio and proportion. Next week, we are moving on to focus on algebra and measure. 

In Geography we have continued to look at weather patterns and climate zones. In computing we have continued to use Excel to input data into spreadsheets on the learn pads. 

For our RE lesson this week, we have looked at Muslim views on World Poverty and Charity. In art we have created a fact-file for the artist Eileen Downes, who specialises in collage. We look forward to creating our own collages over the next few weeks. 

In Science, we have begun our unit of work based on light. We look forward to digging deeper into the interesting unit of work.
