What a busy week we have had this week! We have worked hard towards many things and are producing some great work. In Maths, we have continued to explore fraction, decimal and percentage equivalents and how we find a percentage from a fraction when the denominator is not 100. I was very impressed with the children's focus and drive towards this and we are now all very much looking forward to finding percentages of amounts. We have dedicated our Friday Math's lessons to a recap on any topic that the children explored during home learning that they wouold like to look at again in a little more detail. A very mature attitude to take towards their learning.

In English, we have continued to explore 'The Highwayman' Poem. We have explored the use of adverbials and relative clauses and then applied these to a stroyboard we created.

History has focused on Queen Victoria as a powerful British Monarch. We looked at what she was seen as being this and then created a piece of work around this, We are all very much looking forward to our Geography topic about the United Kingdom next week.

Well done to the children in class who have had their work displayed as 'Excellent Examples.' Keep up the good work.

May I remind you all of the importance of reading daily and recording this in your diary, learning your spellings and times tables and going on to Timestables Rockstars.

See you tomorrow
