A Brilliant Start After Half Term!
What a fantastic return to school this week! The class has shown incredible determination and focus, and it’s been wonderful to see everyone working so hard.
In English, we’ve been retelling the story we’ve read, adding an exciting twist by including a flashback and writing from another character’s point of view. This has really stretched our creativity and understanding of perspective. I’m so excited to read the children’s finished stories once they’ve proofread them next week!
In Maths, we’ve explored multiples, factors, and prime numbers, solving some tricky problems along the way. The children have shown great resilience and problem solving.
In History, we’ve focused on the theme of Remembrance and will continue this next week before concluding our topic on The Battle of Britain. The discussions have been thoughtful and respectful—well done, everyone.
In Science, we’ve learned about the nutrients our bodies need to stay fit and healthy and where we can find them. Next week, we’ll discover how these nutrients are transported around the body—an exciting link to health and wellbeing.
