Good morning Delamere families,

Another bright and sunny morning, but my word it's a chilly one!  When you go out for your daily walk or exercise then please do wrap up warm.  During wellbeing week we were sent some lovely photographs of views of your daily walks – feel free to let your budding photographers loose with their cameras and snap away at the beauty of the outdoors and send some pictures our way.  There really are some stunning wintery images to be captured.

This week has been another busy week and the last week before you all have a good rest for half term – I can almost feel and hear you all sighing with relief! You have all been absolutely amazing. Your resilience, patience and hard work is definitely something to be credited for and you should ALL be proud of yourselves.

I have a few highlights from the week.  Firstly our live session on Wednesday was so much fun with our ‘draw with me’ challenge.  Well done to Joshua and Quinn for taking the leads there too!  Another highlight has to be the 1:1 reading sessions.  I listened to some wonderful reading and really enjoyed the book talk that we carried out too.  Keep reading as much as you can.  It is so important that you are listening to and sharing stories as much as possible.  Snuggle with a blanket, perhaps add some sneaky snacks into the mix and enjoy 10 minutes of quality time with a book.  (I bet there are many parents and carers that would like to do this too!)  My final highlight is the beautiful work you are sending in to commemorate Sir Captain Tom Moore.  Such heartfelt words, prayers, letters and pictures.  Just goes to show what compassionate children you are. ‘The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow in anger and rich in love’ Psalm 145.8

I know Mrs Worstencroft has some super learning lined up for you for the next couple of days and will celebrating all your successes on Friday during her Fantastic Friday live.

Keep smiling, take a good rest over half term and make sure you have lots of fun!

See you all soon.

Mrs Williamson J
