Good morning Delamere families,

We hope that you are all well!  We have seen some terrific work coming through via emails this week and the school based team have been working really hard too.  A massive thank you to each and every one of you once again - you are all doing a wonderful job and it is truly reflected in your work.  

I have been gathering nominations for excellent examples throughout the week and Mrs Worstencroft is going to select the pieces and share these via her live tomorrow.  I can't wait to see which ones are chosen.  I think Mrs Worstencroft is going to have a tricky job on her hands as there are some fabulous examples of maths, writing and guided reading to choose from!  Numbots awards will also be awarded during the live!

We finally managed to get outdoors for our PE session this week as the weather has certainly been kinder.  We learnt to play a new warm up game called the 'Lava' which involved us having to balance on different coloured spots around the playground every time someone shouted LAVA!  It was great fun and we had some excellent mini PE 'teacher's leading the game.  For our home based children - are you managing to get outdoors and get some exercise each day?  On Wednesday's teachng slides I shared a PE challenge that you could take part in - perhaps give it a go and try to beat your own scores?  If the weather isn't great, then try out the Avengers fitness routines.  We really enjoyed taking part in these within the class and it has to be said I've tried a few out myself at home.  (Definitely a work out - I'm still not as fit as I thought I was!)

Thank you for the gorgeous art work that has been sent through so far.  Once we have them all, we will gather them and create an mini virtual art gallery again.  Don't worry, you have until Monday to send them to us.

Hopefully you are finding the Loom links useful and can hear us teaching.  If the link doesn't work when you click on it, then simply copy ad paste the link into your browser and it will take you straight to the Loom.  Remember you can pause and rewind the videos if you need to.  Apologies for the sound of our family budgie in the background of Wednesday's English!  I'll tell her to be quiet next time. :)
