Delamere Excellent Examples and Numbots Winners

It has been a Fantastic Friday today, and indeed a Fantastic first week back together as a full class. We have had lots of fun, there have been lots of smiles and we have all produced lots of super work, so a huge WELL DONE to you all! In Maths we have begun to use the x symbol when multiplying and have matched calculations to pictures of equal groups of objects. Continue to practise counting in steps of 2, 5, 10 and 3 at home as this will really help us as we continue with this learning. In English we pulled together all of our writing skills to write a diary of George's dragon ride using lots of verbs to add extra detail of the things that we saw along the way. I was really impressed with how we stuck at it and didn't give up and the children produced some great writing. In RE we have begun to learn about the Easter Story, starting this week with Palm Sunday. Here is a link to the lovely story of Dan the Donkey who had a very important job to do. Dan the Donkey I wonder if you can tell your grown ups who Dan was carrying on his back and where their journey took them. 

Thank you so much for the textiles work that has come into school this week, they are absolutely wonderful! We cant wait to see the rest and then create a beautiful display for everyone to see.
