Delamere Excellent Examples & Numbots - 26.3.2021

Another great few days Delamere. Even though we are starting to get a little tired as we head towards the Easter break you have all continued to do your best and have worked your socks off! 

In English we wrote some fantastic endings to our Robot Machine stories and it was so lovely to see the pride you took when you finished that final sentence. Today we spent some time editing our work and then put on our storyteller hats and shared our stories with each other. It was a really wonderful thing to see the children confidently reading their stories aloud with expression and pride. Well done everyone!

We continued to work on our mulitiplication, focusing on the 2 and 5 times tables. The children have made some real progress with this skill and we look forward to moving onto the 10 times table next week. 

In RE, we explored the Easter story further, making Good Friday crosses and Easter Sunday sunrise paintings. I was super proud of the senstive way that the children responded to the different parts of the story. 

In PE today we had fun playing games with cones and large balls and it was lovely to be outside in the sunshine.
