Delamere’s Blog 16.11.19

Date: 16th Nov 2019 @ 11:07am

Over the last two weeks we have been learning about a famous poem by Edward Lear called the Owl and the Pussycat. We finished the work off this week by creating our own poems based on the original.

In maths, we are continuing with our work on addition and subtraction. The children are learning how to use drawings to help them work out their answers.

We are busy making a 3D map of Nantwich. I hope you like our Tudor buildings.

This week we have been thinking about Anti-Bullying week and Children in Need. On Friday, Delamere and Blakemere joined together to explore more about friendship and the importance of helping other people. We had a great time and made this friendship wreath to symbolise never ending friendship.

Christmas Fair - At the Fair this year each class is going to be in charge of a couple of stalls. If you think you would be able to help me at the event then please pop in to see me. It is on Friday 6th December straight after school.
Don't forget our class hamper! All cholclate related donations are most welcome. Thank you for all the donations so far.

Hope you have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Bettley.
