What an amazing first week it has been in Delamere Class! All the children have settled really well and already produced lots of work to be really proud of. 

English - This week we have looked at basic sentence punctuation and different sentence types. In Year 2 we need to know about statements, commands, exclamations and questions. There is more information about these sentences in the English section on Delamere's website page. 

Maths - We have started a unit that explores place value skills. So far we have looked at how 2-digit numbers are made up from tens and ones. 

RE - We have started our unit on What good news stories did Jesus tell? We thought about what news is and we shared some of our own. 

Topic - We have done some music, computing, PSHCE and thought about what we already know about Great Britain.
