Delamere's Weekly Blog - 1.4.2022

What a truly wonderful term we have had! We are so very proud of each and every one of the children for their hard work and dedication.

We've excellent confidence and progress in our swimming lessons and cannot wait to carry on after Easter.

We've danced our hearts out and choreographed our own short pieces. We learnt about the influences of the 1980s in the process.

We've learnt the seven continents, five oceans and the countries that make up the UK. We've used maps, globes and atlases for research and discover and even sung a song or two to help us to recall key facts!

In English we've performed poetry, written stories and begun to increase our writing stamina.

In Maths we've been busy bees with addition, subtraction and counting in 2, 5 and 10.

In Science we have explored the properties of all sorts of different materials.

We could keep going ... phew!

A massive well done to all of Delamere who perfomed their Palm Sunday poem beautifully in Church today and to our Numbots winners Zac and Kizzy.

Have a well-earned rest everyone. Keep practising your Maths using NUMBOTS and don't forget those common exception word spellings.
