Delamere's Weekly Update 16.9.16

We have reached the end of another brilliant week in Delamere. A big well done to all the children for their hard work. 

In English we have finished our work about Roald Dahl and one of his books The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me. The children have written character descriptions, letters and completed a book review. 

Maths this week has seen us looking at and sequencing 2 digit numbers. We have also learnt how to partition them into tens and ones. The presentation of work in books has been really impressive, well done!

We have started our topic about the United Kingdom and the children were able to use atlases to locate all four countries and their capital cities. We also looked at the different flags and how they fit together to make the Union Jack.
