EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT New Playground Markings (School Council Project)

Over the past couple of years you will have all been aware of the tremendous efforts that have been made to raise money for new playground markings at Over St John's by the School Council. The children have worked tirelessly to come up with fundraising events, they’ve agonised over the numbers/funds, they’ve researched the pupils views through questionnaires, created wish lists, dream designs and held meetings with playground design teams.

 

Well we can finally announce that the project has been a success and we now have the final designs! A special thanks must go to all those that have made donations to the project too such as The Friends of Over St Johns, The Darnhall Trust and the Town Council. Without these kind donations then this project may well have been longer in the waiting. So thank you, we are very grateful for your support.

May I take the opportunity to also thank Mrs James for working her magic behind the scenes and the school council themselves. Well done children, you should be very proud of yourselves.

 

We are hoping for the markings to be placed on the school playground over the Easter holidays weather permitting.
