Fantastic Friday in Delamere - 18.6.2021

Date: 17th Jun 2021 @ 4:37pm

Well here we are once again at the end of another busy week, and what a hot one it has been!

This week in Science we moved onto learning about and comparing life cycles of different animals, including humans and what good timing for our caterpillars to enter into the next stage of their life cycle. I thought that someone had stolen our caterpillars when I came in on Thursday but the children reassured me that they had just turned into chrysalides so I didn’t need to worry. I have attached some pictures of the chrysalis and their new home in our butterfly house. We now need to watch and wait as they work hard to change into butterflies. I wonder children, can you tell your grown ups the word that describes this process? I think that they will be very impressed when you do!

Well done to our 3 worthy winners of the Numbots certificates, Franklin, Joshua and Holly and to our 4 excellent examples, Quinn, Wyatt, Annie and Ava K. We are all super proud of you!

We hope that you have a great weekend and will see you on Monday.
