Football Tournament

Football Tournament - Friday 15th November 2019

This afternoon a group of children from Blakemere and Linmere were invited to take part in a 7-a-side football tournament at Hartford High School. It was fantastic to watch as the children grew in confidence from one game to the next and really started to work as a team. We were so very impressed with each and every player and the children gave 100% in all of the 5 matches that they played. Not only did we finish 4th overall, with a very exciting penalty moment, but the children also received the award for sportsmanship! We know that our children behave impecably, but it is so wonderful when this is noticed by someone else! Well done to you all, you did yourselves and the school proud today!! We hope that you have all warmed up and have a fabulous weekend.
