Friday News Oakmere

And this is it, we have done a WHOLE week in Oakmere and what a week!

It has been a very busy week where the children got to see what being in Oakmere is! We are very proud of how hard they have worked, we have asked a lot from them - and the hot, sticky weather didn't help - but they have managed to show us already what they are capable of. We are very proud of the work that has been produced so far.

We have been introduced to our book which we will be using in Literacy this half term. We have started exploring the events that led up to WWII and we have been chosen to be health experts for a hockey team as part of our Science topic. We have also started Gymnastics and Games with our specialist coaches - it was lovely to see all the smiles on the pitch this afternoon, the children particularly enjoyed the Cowboy game!

All in all, a lot was achieved this week and we are ready for a good rest this weekend - that includes the adults!
