Friday update

Good afternoon!

This is it, we are now officially back! Two days in and it feels like we never left! 

We have had a wonderful two days, it has been lovely getting to know the children and seeing them interact with their peers. We have also got some sort of normality back: we mix with other children and we have Collective worship and dinner in the hall! That alone has felt amazing!

Although we didn't quite jump straight back in, we have started doing some work, kick-starting our brains - we can see some lovely writing already, we know who our artists are as well as the sporty ones! We did some PE this afternoon, a fun game of rounders that got our spirits up. 

I'm sure the children will all need a good rest already this weekend so make sure they get plenty of sleep, ready for Monday where they will meet Mrs Riley, who is very much looking forward to meeting them.
