What a fabulous day to finish this week! The children have been absolute super stars today, they have achieved so much through their positive attitude to learning! What a fabulous way to finish the week!

This week, we have continued to explore our book in Literacy, writing a non-chronological report on seals as well as creating a riddle about seals. 

In Maths, we are continuing to develop our skills on place value, today adding or subtracting 1, 10 and 100. We have also started testing our times tables - any support at home is greatly appreciated. Remember you can use your TTRockStar login to practise.

In Science, we have analysed a food diary to see if our hockey team was eating enough fruits and vegetables as well as how much sugar they are consuming - we discovered just how much sugar is hidden in food and drinks!

In topic, we were able to look at a real life gas mask which was a great opportunity for the class in our WWII topic.

We are also doing brilliantly in PE, learning different throws this afternoon and gymnastics on Tuesday.
