Hatchmere Class Blog 7.01.22

Hello Hatchmerians.

What a great first week back.  Everyone was so happy to be back in class and with their friends.  The children were very excited to share their Christmas news and we had some lovely writing about it. 

In Maths we have been recapping on our number sense looking at counting, the stopping number and equal amounts.  The children worked together in small groups to sort out a big mess of numbers.  We had lots of number chatting and problem solving.  We started our topic of Transport and we have had some lovely pictures from home the children have shared with the class.

Next week we will be introducing our key book all about a naughty London bus.  The children will start to learn a little bit about our capital city and compare it to their home town of Winsford.  Please see the plan below for further detail.
