I am so proud of our little Hatchmerians! We have had a super week! 

Have you heard about the Hatchmere Café? We opened on Monday and the children have had so much fun learning how to use it. We need to speak to customers politely, take orders and prepare food and drink. Only 4 are allowed in at a time…we don’t want Trip Advisor reviews to accuse us of over-crowding. The café has a thorough tidying and cleaning at the end of each day, all done by the children. We'll be taking Uber orders soon. Well done Hatchmere. 

We took part in our first ‘official’ PE session! We took our time getting changed making sure that we were also supporting friends and we did it! Miss Boydell introduced the children to Gymnastics and was blown away by how well they listened and followed instructions. She could see some very promising gymnasts in our midst’s. 

Our Petting Zoo was a huge success. We loved seeing and learning about the different creatures but even better was the opportunity to handle some unusual animals. Hatchmere had the best time! Every single child child touched or held each creature I was so incredibly impressed with them! We even had some syper strong muscles holding up the snake.

Hatchmere have discovered a nest in our one of our tree's in our Outside Classroom and the children are being very careful to play quietly around it. They are taking sneaky peaks and are hopeful that soon we will hear chicks.
