Twas the week before terms end…But Hatchmere doesn’t let that get in the way of their learning!

There is a mystery afoot in the hunt for the very last Evil Pea! They are nowhere to be found and we are starting to become a little bit suspicious. Where are they? What are they planning? BUT, never fear…Hatchmere are here! The children have set to work making detailed wanted posters to find that mischievous green ball, before they have chance to strike again.

Hatchmere have continued their shape explorations this week. They are matching the 3D shapes to their 2D counterparts brilliantly. They have also been challenged to design and create a pin board picture and identify the shapes they have used. The children have also manipulated shapes to create different animals, which was lots of fun. A triangle doesn’t have to sit on a line to be a triangle!

We have been praying for nice weather so that our paddling pool party can go ahead THIS MONDAY. Please remember to send your child in with a full costume, hat, sunscreen and towel. All of these items should be named. Please also prepare your child in the event of this being cancelled, the rain seems to want to stick around but we shall remain positive! If we can not go ahead we will try again Wednesday afternoon.
