What a gorgeous end to our Spring term
Another silver badge winner in Hatchmere...at least 100 instances of reading at home! Well Done!
This week the children have been focused on their re-telling of The Bog Baby story. They completed this task independently showing off their writing and spelling skills. Most children are now using finger spaces, sounding out and using our HFW/CEW successfully. Fantastic work Hatchmere, it is so wonderful to see the children proud of their achievements and wanting to share it with others around the school.
Hatchmere were so fortunate to have our Junior Safety Officers come to work with them. They took them outside and re-visited Road Safety. The children showed how confident they were by answering questions and explaining how to behave around roads. Our JSO’s were very impressed by them.
We had such a fun Easter Egg hunt in school yesterday, the children showed excellent sportsmanship by encouraging their classmates and celebrating when they found an egg. We had such a fun afternoon.
I am sure you will agree that Hatchmere’s performance in the church today was amazing! The children love to perform and don’t they do it well!? We are so very proud of them.
Enjoy your break and we will see you Tuesday 22nd April at 8.35am for the start of the Summer term.
